First, you need to make a line of running stitches.

  1. Bring the needle up through the fabric.
  2. Next make a loop by entering the thread (different colour) under the 1st stitch of the line. Keep making loops in the same way but make sure to enter the needle under the thread in the same direction.

Uses: This stitch is ideal for creating raised, textured lines, perfect for decorative borders, outlines, and accents.
