  1. Bring the needle up to the starting point.
  2. Insert the needle back through the fabric and bring it up through the fabric. (like the demonstrated shape), make sure the thread is under the needle.
  3. Wrap the thread around the needle from the right side, pull the needle through. Then, pull the thread down to tighten the knot.

Uses: Ideal for finishing the edges of fabric, especially in appliqué and hems. Great for creating decorative borders, eyelets, and adding detail to floral designs. Provides a neat, secure finish to prevent fraying.
